Reliance Jio Fiber data vouchers now starts from Rs 101

Reliance Jio Fiber data vouchers now starts from Rs 101

Reliance Jio has introduced new data vouchers for its Jio Fiber broadband users in the country. The data vouchers allow subscribers to increase the data availability on their existing plans.

Reliance Jio is offering these data vouchers between Rs 101 and Rs 4,001.
The company is offering as many as six vouchers priced at Rs 101, Rs 251, Rs 501, Rs 1,001, Rs 2,001 and Rs 4,001.

With Rs 101 data voucher, users get additional 20GB data whereas Rs 251 voucher gives 55GB additional data. For Rs 501, you can get 125GB additional data. For Rs 1,001 and Rs 2,001, Jio Fiber subscribers get 275GB and 650GB data respectively. The most expensive Rs 4,001 data voucher gives 2TB additional data.

According to Telecomtalkinfo, these data vouchers don’t help extend the validity of the existing plan or offer data roll-over like other broadband players such as Spectra and You Broadband offer.

The website notes that the validity of these vouchers will be equivalent to the JioFiber plan subscribed by a user. Jio Fiber users can get these data vouchers through My Jio application or the company’s website after logging in with their Jio Fiber account.

Reliance Jio Fiber is available in bronze, silver, gold, diamond, platinum and titanium tiers. The base plan is priced at Rs 699 and offers 100Mbps speed with 500GB+200GB data extra. The most expensive Jio Fiber titanium plan is available for Rs 8,499. Under this offer, users get unlimited data up to 5,000GB with 1Gbps speed.

Reliance Jio Users can get Old Recharges But There is a Condition

Reliance Jio Users can get Old Recharges But There is a Condition

Reliance Jio subscribers who will have access to the old plans will be the ones who do not have any active plans in their account right now. This means that you will have to visit the website of Reliance Jio or the official self-care application, and here on, you will be able to log in and see the older plans for recharge. This basically means that Reliance Jio is giving another chance to its subscribers to recharge with the older plans
and to spend less on these prepaid plans. In case you already once recharged with a new prepaid plan in the last few days, then you will not get the old plan listing. You will have to be with no active recharge in your Jio account to get a glimpse of the old plans.

Specifically speaking, the subscribers will have to navigate to the Settings sections after logging in to the website using the mobile number and OTP, and then they would have to go to the setting section. Over here, they would have to tap the “Tariff Protection” button where they would get to see the old plans.

Reliance Jio Prepaid Plan Data Tariff Hike

After the data tariff hike, Reliance Jio has increased the prices of all its prepaid plans and Jio is not the only one to do so. In fact, the Mukesh Ambani led telecom operator has said that even with the price hike, its prepaid plans are around 25% cheaper than the competition. However, the thing to note with the Reliance Jio prepaid plans is that calling remains something that is still somehow chargeable on the Reliance Jio prepaid plans, thus explaining the price difference. The other telecom operators have made their plans such that they are now offering truly unlimited calling. But that is not the case with Jio, and the telecom operator is charging its subscribers with 6 paise per minute IUC after a certain threshold. The subscribers will have to get special IUC talk time for this. It is worth noting that Jio pays the most IUC to other telecom operators courtesy of the highest number of outgoing calls that originate on its network.

Jio Happy New Year 2020 offer with everything unlimited - Know more

Jio Happy New Year 2020 offer with everything unlimited - Know more

Announcing its "Happy New Year" offer, Reliance Jio said that it would offer smartphone customers "unlimited services" for a year for a recharge amount of Rs 2,020. These services include unlimited voice calls
and SMS in addition to 1.5 GB data per day.

There is another offer under the scheme. For the same amount (Rs 2,020), one can also buy a JioPhone and one year of "unlimited services" which include unlimited voice calls and SMS, besides 0.5 GB data per day. The limited period offer starts on Tuesday.

According to the company's 'all-in-one' tariff plans announced earlier this month, plans worth Rs 555 (3 months) and Rs 2,199 (12 months), offered 1.5 GB data per day, and FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit of 3,000 and 12,000 minutes respectively, among others.

In fact, all the three private telecom players in India -- Vodafone Idea, Bharti Airtel and Jio - earlier announced pre-paid tariff plans with 40-50 per cent higher rates.

With over 350 million subscribers, Reliance Jio in October reported Rs 990 crore net profit for Q2 ending September, marking a year-on-year growth of 45.4 per cent on a standalone basis even as its average revenue per user (ARPU) fell while both data and voice volume grew significantly.

Reliance Jio Fiber migration plan for preview users is here - Check data, other benefits

Reliance Jio Fiber migration plan for preview users is here - Check data, other benefits

Reliance Jio has quietly launched a new plan for Jio Fiber customers who are still using the preview offer. Dubbed as ‘migration plan’, Reliance Jio aims to bring users of its beta service to the commercial plans it launched
earlier this year.

Reliance Jio Fiber’s new migration plan is valid for seven days. According to Gadgets360, users will have the option to switch to the official Jio Fiber plans or unsubscribe the network altogether.

With the Reliance Jio Fiber migration scheme, preview customers are eligible for 50GB data for seven days. Users get data speeds at 100Mbps. Post exhaustion of the data, speed is throttled to 1Mbps. According to the report, users will receive an SMS notification to alert about the activation of the migration plan.

Note that the migration plan is available for free to Jio Fiber customers.

Reliance Jio halted the preview scheme it had launched last year as part of the beta trial. The company in November this year stopped enrolling new users in the preview offer.

Reliance Jio’s preview scheme is very different from the Jio Fiber commercial plans. For instance, Reliance Jio Fiber users were eligible for 100Mbps data speeds with up to 1.1TB (FUP) every month. The company charged Rs 2,500 (refundable security deposit) for the installation and ONT device setup.

The commercial plans, however, are available in as many as six tiers - bronze, silver, gold, diamond, platinum and titanium tiers. The base plan is available for Rs 699 and features 100Mbps speed with 500GB+200GB data extra. The most expensive Jio Fiber titanium plan costs Rs 8,499 per month. Under this plan, users get unlimited data up to 5,000GB with 1Gbps speed.
